In the beginning of 2016, six ministries jointly issued the Special Plan for the Development of Electronic Commerce Logistics (2016-2020) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan).
The Plan pointed out that, in recent years, China’s e-commerce logistics maintained a rapid growth with the enterprises’ development diversified, the operation modes innovated, and the service capacity improving obviously. E-commerce logistics has become an important part of modern logistics and also a new power to promote the development of our national economy. With the transformation and upgrading of the national economy, the development of Internet and IOT (Internet of Things), as well as the further improvement of infrastructure, the demands for e-commerce logistics will maintain a rapid growth.
Moreover, in the Report on the Work of the Government released in May this year, Chinese Premier Mr. Li Keqiang mentioned that we will develop producer services such as research, development and design, modern logistics, inspection, testing and certification. New forms of business such as e-commerce, online shopping, and online services have played an important role during the covid-19 response and more policies will be introduced in support of such businesses.
In the context of the huge demand of e-commence logistics, we have the belief that there will be lots of business opportunities in this industry. The 6th China International Logistics of E-business Core Competitiveness Summit Conference will be held in Guangzhou on August 28th, in which related policies and insights will be exchanged.
